Anime Limited Announces May Home Releases

In a message on its AllTheAnime website, Anime Limited announced details of several of its home releases in May, as follows.

A standard Blu-ray edition of Vladlove (a 2021 series co-directed by Mamoru Oshii and Junji Nishimura) on May 12, pictured right. Anime Limited will also release the title in the US.

A Collector's Blu-ray edition of Woodpecker Detective's Office (a 2020 mystery series set in Japan's mystery era) on May 12, including four art cards and an A3 poster, pictured left. Anime Limited adds, "We'll also be making this series available in the US, so look out for this title through one of our US partners in the near future." There will also be a standard Blu-ray edition.

A standard Blu-ray of Bleach Part 5 on May 12, carrying episodes 112 to 139 and art cards. Anime Limited comments, "After this volume of the series, we'll be taking a brief respite from our releases of the series for a few months to ensure that our next Collector's Edition Set (which will be designed to hold parts 6 to 9 of the show) and its contents are all ready to go."

A Collector's Blu-ray Edition of I'm Standing on 1,000,000 Lives. on May 19, carrying 24 episodes across three Blu-ray discs, as well as a 32-page booklet with two bonus manga chapters, comments from the original author, and other interviews and comments from the cast, pictured right. There will also be a standard Blu-ray edition.

A Collector's Blu-ray edition of A Destructive God Sits Next to Me on May 26, including four art cards and an A3 poster. Anime Limited is also releasing this title in the US. There will also be a standard Blu-ray edition.
