Shinichiro Watanabe, BONES' Original Carole & Tuesday Anime Reveals More Characters

The official website for Carole & Tuesday, the new original anime by supervising director Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope, Terror in Resonance) and anime studio BONES, revealed more characters, additional composers, and theme songs on Wednesday.
The new characters are:
Gus
Tao
Roddy
Ertegun
The anime's second group of composers includes Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Tim Rice-Oxley (Keane), Eirik Glambek Bøe (Kings of Convenience), and Nulbarich. The previously revealed composers for the series include Jen Wood (This White Light), Maisa Tsuno (Akai Ko-en), Benny Sings, and Lido.
Nulbarich is providing the opening theme song "Kiss Me." Benny Sings is creating the ending theme song "Hold Me Now."
The series will premiere on Fuji TV's new anime time slot +Ultra next April. The anime will stream exclusively worldwide on Netflix. The series marks the 20th anniversary of BONES and the 10th anniversary of Flying Dog.

The tagline in a previous video read, "The two met and created a song. No one knew what a miracle it would bring."
The production opened auditions for the main characters Carole and Tuesday to applicants worldwide. Those chosen for the roles will also perform the songs for the characters in the anime, which will get a CD single release. Auditions were open on the anime's official website until April 25.
Motonobu Hori is directing the anime, and Tsunenori Saitō (Blast of Tempest, Sword of the Stranger) is designing the characters for animation. Canadian artist Mocky is composing the background music.
The staff also includes Eisaku Kubonouchi (Chocolat, "Hungry Days" commercials) as original character designer, Aya Watanabe (Carnation, Josee, The Tiger and the Fish) as scriptwriter, and Flying Dog as in charge of music production. The anime is collaborating with synthesizer and keyboard brand Nord and guitar maker Gibson.
