The Last Guardian Director Discusses Game Design with IGN in New Video
posted on by Kyle Hallmark
Video game news source IGN uploaded a new video in its "IGN First" series on Sunday, taking a look at Fumito Ueda and SCE Japan Studio's The Last Guardian PlayStation 4 game.
In the video, Fumito Ueda — the creative director of The Last Guardian — talks about the game's puzzles, combat, exploration, and setting.
IGN streamed three more "IGN First" videos for The Last Guardian earlier this week. The videos concerned the game's development, the creature Trico, and IGN's first impressions of the game.
Since Sony first revealed the game in 2009, the game has undergone numerous delays in production. Game director Fumito Ueda announced his departure as a full-time Sony employee in December 2011, although he later confirmed that the game was still under his creative supervision in 2013.
The Last Guardian is due for release on the PlayStation 4 later this year.
