The Last Guardian Director Discusses Games Development with IGN in Videos
posted on by Jabulani Blyden
Video game news source IGN uploaded three new videos in its "IGN First" series, taking a look at Fumito Ueda and SCE Japan Studio's The Last Guardian PlayStation 4 game.
In two of the videos, Fumito Ueda — the creative director of The Last Guardian — talks about the game's development and bringing the creature, Trico, to life.
The third video features IGN's Tristan Ogilvie and Cam Shea's impressions after playing the first 45 minutes of the game.
Since Sony first revealed the game in 2009, the game has undergone numerous delays in production. Game director Fumito Ueda announced his departure as a full-time Sony employee in December 2011, although he later confirmed that the game was still under his creative supervision in 2013.
The Last Guardian is due for release on the PlayStation 4 later this year.
