Texas' Oni Con Will Host Naruto Voice Actress Junko Takeuchi

Organizers of Texas' Oni Con announced on Monday that Junko Takeuchi, the voice actress behind Naruto Uzamaki, will attend the event.
Takeuchi last appeared at Comic-Con International San Diego in July. Besides voicing the popular ninja, Takeuchi's other roles include Gon Freecss in the 1999 version of Hunter X Hunter, Takuya Kanbara in Digimon Frontier, Rin Natsuki/Cure Rouge in Yes! Precure 5, Mamoru Endou in Inazuma Eleven, and Red in Pocket Monsters: The Origin.
The event is also hosting Final Fantasy XIII and Good Luck Girl! composer Masashi Hamauzu with vocalist Mina. The duo performs under the name "Imeruat," the Ainu word for "flash of light." Hamauzu composed many game soundtracks over his career, including SaGa Frontier 2, Final Fantasy X, Musashi: Samurai Legend, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, and Front Mission: Gun Hazard
Oni Con will be held at the Galveston Island Convention Center in Galveston, Texas on October 31 to November 2. The event will also host Japanese girl band Ganglion, and English dub voice actors Taliesin Jaffe, Clarine Harp, and Christopher Ayres.
