Light Novel Exhibition 2024 to be Held in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, Japan During Nov.29th - Dec.16th

KADOKAWA CORPORATION has announced details for Light Novel Exhibition 2024, which will be held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, Japan from November 29th (Fri), 2024 to December 16th (Mon.), 2024.
The exhibition will assemble a variety of exclusive and exciting attractions complete with Instagrammable opportunities, such as a photo spot featuring Re: Life in a different world from zero and the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing, and a cafe collaborating with popular titles. The exhibit will also showcase a timeline that traces the history of light novels from their early days to the present, a merchandise section with new items, and a limited mini-booklet of Light Novel Walker, which includes a preview of the latest installment in the Haruhi Suzumiya series The Theater of Haruhi Suzumiya (available 11/29).
■Exclusive Must-sees at Light Novel Exhibition 2024
The exhibition will showcase a timeline that traces the history of light novels from their early days in the 1980s to the present while covering popular titles and their adaptation to various media. The exhibit will be centered around KADOKAWA's publishing labels, including MF Bunko J, Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko, Dengeki Bunko, Famitsu Bunko, and Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. Highlights include "Top 10 Light Novel Rankings by Decade", copies of localized light novels, and videos showcasing commercials for classic and new titles. By exploring the displays, visitors can immerse themselves in the history and culture of light novels and discover new appeals.
■Instagrammable spots at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA and Collaboration Cafe
At SHIBUYA TSUTAYA (1F and 7F), around 20 life-sized character panels will displayed side by side. Additionally, there will be an exclusive photo spot where visitors can take pictures with Emilia, Ram, and Rem from Re: Life in a different world from zero against the backdrop of the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Drinks at the collaboration cafe will feature flavors inspired by five light novel titles chosen for the event's key visual. A special coaster (with 11 different designs) will be randomly given to each drink ordered. Various food and beveragesare also available, allowing guests to enjoy their meals while viewing the exhibits inside the collaboration cafe.

Merchandise includes new items such as Famous Quotes Acrylic Stand (32 types) featuring illustrations and iconic lines from popular titles, as well as the Multi Acrylic Stand (44 types) which are perfect for displaying books. Fans can also enjoy playing with the Trading Acrylic Cards (8 designs across 4 labels) and Trading Stickers (8 designs across 4 labels). In addition, a selection of stored existing items and popular titles will be available, ensuring a shopping experience that caters to both core and casual fans.
■Promotional Booklet “Light Novel Walker” ＆ Special Stickers
Light Novel Exhibition 2024 limited edition booklet Light Novel Walker will be distributed at the venue. This booklet is packed with information such as ways to enjoy the Light Novel Exhibition 2024, the history of light novels, and a preview of Theater of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's a perfect companion to review after visiting the exhibition or preparing for a future visit. Additionally, visitors will randomly receive "I visited the Light Novel Exhibition 2024" stickers (5 designs). To receive one, attendees must complete a survey, exchange 1 mile from the KADOKAWA app, or bring a flyer distributed at Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2024. Multiple participations are allowed.
