Super Smash Bros. Arrives on 3DS/Wii U With New Characters

Nintendo streamed a special Direct Presentation for Super Smash Bros. on Tuesday. The video announced that the latest game in the fighting franchise will be released for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The video is hosted by franchise director Masahiro Sakurai in Bandai Namco Studios.
The Nintendo 3DS version will be released this summer followed by the Wii U version this winter. Both versions will have the same fighter roster but different stages. The 3DS stages include:
- Reset Bomb Forest
- 3D Land
- Spirit Train
- Gerudo Valley
- Arena Ferox
- Tortimer Island
- Living Room
- Prism Tower
- Rainbow Road
- Find Mii
- Balloon Fight
- Jungle Japes
The Wii U Stages include:
- Mario Galaxy
- Pyrosphere
- Town and City
- Boxing Ring
- Pilot Wings
- Skyloft
- Windy Hill
- Garden of Hope
- Wii Fit Studio
- Palutena's Temple
- Halberd
- Wiley Castle
The video notes that characters that changed forms in battle will no longer change. As a result, Samus and Zero Suit Samus and Princess Zelda and Sheik will be separate playable characters. Also added to the games' lineup is Rosalina and Luma from Super Mario Galaxy, Little Mac from Punch Out, Villager from Animal Crossing, MegaMan, WiiFit Trainers, and Greninja and Charizard from Pokémon,
