J-Stars Victory Vs. Game's 52 Characters Unveiled

The April issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine is unveiling 52 characters from Namco Bandai Games's J-Stars Victory Vs. "team battle action" video game on Friday.
Some of the previously unannounced characters include Hunter x Hunter's Killua, One Piece's Ace, Yū Yū Hakusho's Hiei, and Sakigake!! Otoko Juku's Momotarō Tsurugi and Heihachi Edajima. However, the magazine does not specify if these characters are playable or support. Some previously revealed characters such as Naruto's Kakashi and Sakura will only appear in the game's adventure mode, and they have not been announced as playable or support characters.

Hironobu Kageyama, Akira Kushida, and Hiroshi Kitadani are singing the game's theme song "Fighting Stars."
The game will have an Adventure Mode in which players assemble characters and embark on voyages throughout "Jump World" with a ship. Players can collect "J Points" for cards in battles and adventures, and then use the resulting card deck to level up their characters and ships.
The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita game will arrive on March 19. A regular copy of the PS3 version will cost 7,980 yen (about US$80), while a limited edition will cost 10,980 yen (about US$110). The normal edition of the PS Vita version will cost 6,980 yen, while a limited edition copy will retail for 9,980 yen (about US$100). A free augmented-reality (AR) app lets you see the Jump heroes in your surroundings on the PS Vita.
People who pre-order the game will receive the J-Stars Victory Book, a volume bound like a Jump Comics book and filled with information and visuals of Jump heroes over the years. For a limited time, a "Ani-Son Sound Edition" of the game will let players listen to 21 television anime theme songs in the game.
