The November issue of Shogakuan's Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine announced on Tuesday that the anime of Bushiroad's Future Card Buddyfight trading card game will premiere in Japan in January. Bushiroad will release the trading card game in January, and the manga adaptation will launch in the December issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic on November 15.
Bushiroad USA is holding four conferences across the United States to introduce the trading card game. Bushiroad CEO, Takaaki Kidani, will be sharing more about the product and promotional plans at the conferences. The first two events took place in Hauppauge, New York on Sunday and Chicago on Tuesday. Upcoming events include a Los Angeles conference on Wednesday and a Dallas conference on Thursday.
Bushiroad announced in June that the new trading card game will receive manga and anime adaptations. The official website describes the trading card game as "the ultimate card game of this century" and features art by animation studio Oriental Light and Magic (Pokémon, Utawarerumono).
Bushiroad streamed its second promotional video for the project in September.
