Manager: La Corda D'Oro 3 Dating Simulation Game Gets Anime
posted on by Egan Loo
"Kawabata," a manager for the voice actor Yūya Uchida in the actors group Haiyuza, reported on Sunday that work on an anime adaptation of Koei Tecmo Games' Kin-iro no Corda 3 (La Corda D'Oro 3) dating simulation title has begun. According to the manager, the announcement was made at the La Corda d'Oro 10th Birthday event earlier in the day. The game follows a girl named Kanade and her relationships with the orchestra members and the other boys at her school:
The dating simulation game originally shipped in Japan on the PSP and PlayStation 2 systems in February 2010. A new special edition with full voicing of dialogue will ship for the PSP on September 19. Yuki Kure adapted the game into the Linden Hall no Aria -Kin-iro no Corda Series- manga series which just ended last month.
The game franchise already inspired a television anime series in 2006, and a television special sequel, La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~, aired in spring of 2009. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the series on DVD in North America, and Crunchyroll streamed both anime. Kure also adapted the first Kin-iro no Corda game into a manga, and Viz Media published the 17th and final volume of the original La Corda d'Oro manga in North America in May.
