North American publisher Digital Manga announced on Friday that it licensed Kou Yoneda's newest boys-love manga series, Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai.
The story centers around Yashiro, the masochistic Shinsei Kogyō president who is skilled at making money and concealing his true intentions. Chikara Dohmeki serves as his silent attendant and bodyguard. Although Yashiro had decided not to get involved with his subordinates, he is attracted to Dohmeki for some reason. Although Dohmeki was invited by Yashiro, he cannot respond to the invitation for some reason. Yashiro lives in self-contradictions, while Dohmeki obeys Yashiro with simple honesty.
The series has been running in Taiyoh Tosho's Hertz and ihr HertZ magazines, and Taiyoh Tosho published the first volume of the manga in January. Frontier Works is already working on a two-disc drama CD in October with Tarusuke Shingaki and Wataru Hatano as Yashiro and Dohmeki.
Digital Manga also published Yoneda's boys-love manga No Touching At All (Dōshitemo Furetakunai) in 2010. Animate USA released Yoneda's boys-love manga Kanjou Spectrum on Amazon's Kindle ebook store last year.
Update: Digital Manga will offer this title in both print and digital.
