Last Yamato 2199 Volume Delayed to October 25

The official website for the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 anime project announced on Friday that the seventh and final Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume has been delayed. The staff had planned to sell advance copies of the Blu-ray Disc version during the volume's August 24-September 6 theatrical run, but the time required to manufacture the Blu-ray Discs and DVDs is preventing this.

The general retail release of the final volume on both Blu-ray and DVD has also been delayed from September 25 to October 25. The DVD rental version has been delayed even further from October 25 to November 22.
