Moe Fantasy Anime Zettai Bōei Leviathan's Teaser Streamed

Mobile game producer GREE began streaming a teaser video for the television anime adaptation of Zettai Bōei Leviathan (Absolute Defense Leviathan) role-playing game on Friday. The 18-second video is narrated by Kana Hanazawa (Sketchbook ~full color'S~, Sasami-san@Ganbaranai), who plays Syrup the talkative fairy. Other cast members introduced are Leviathan (Saori Hayami), a girl who has forgotten how to smile; Bahamut (Eri Kitamura), an extravagant high-class lady; and Jörmungandr (Ayana Taketatsu), a kind girl with amazing strength.
In the story, meteorites suddenly bring forth evil creatures that threaten all living things on the planet. The fairy Syrup assembles the Aquafall Defence Force, with three girls of the dragon clans as recruits. The story follows Syrup and the dragon girls Leviathan, Bahamut, and Jörmungandr as they work together to battle enemies and grow up.
Kenichi Yatani (Dojin Work, Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki, Renkin 3-kyuu Magical? Pokahn) is directing off scripts supervised by Yasunori Ide (Hanaukyo Maid-tai, Renkin 3-kyuu Magical? Pokahn) at Gonzo. Takaharu Ōkuma (Hanaukyo Maid-tai, Kotoura-san, Magician's Academy, Mitsudomoe) is designing the characters, and Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari Sketch, Squid Girl) and Shiho Terada (Inazuma Eleven GO) are composing the music. Yuki Kanno is performing the opening theme song "Hajimari no Resolution," while PASSPO will perform the ending theme "Truly."
The anime will premiere on April 6.
