posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The final page Masahito Soda's Capeta manga in the February issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine revealed on Saturday that the manga will end in two more chapters. Soda added on his blog on Sunday that he had decided on when and how he would end the manga roughly two years ago.
Soda mentioned that the final two chapters will be longer than normal chapters, with the final chapter being 90 pages in length.
Soda launched the series in 2003, and Kodansha published the 30th compiled volume in the series on November 16. The manga won the Kodansha Manga Award in the Best Shōnen Manga category in 2005. The manga revolves around fourth-grader Taira Capeta who takes up kart racing after the death of his mother.
The series inspired a 52-episode television anime series in 2005-2006 from Studio Comet.
