Grasshopper Manufacture CEO Goichi "Suda51" Suda announced at a Lollipop Chainsaw event on Sunday that more than 700,000 units of Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture's hack-and-slash zombie game Lollipop Chainsaw have shipped since its release on June 12. Suda mentioned that this is a new record for the company.
After the announcement, Suda showed a trailer of Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51's next game, Killer is Dead, which is slated for worldwide release next year.
Kadokawa Games has also recently announced that it is partnering with the recently-established Japan Twin Tail Association for a Lollipop Chainsaw-related event. Juliet, the main character from Lollipop Chainsaw, sports pigtails in the game.
