Government Official/Activist Ronan Farrow Joins Poppy Hill Dub

Lawyer, human rights activist, and freelance journalist Ronan Farrow confirmed via his Twitter account on Saturday that he will be lending his voice to the English dub of Goro Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's From Up On Poppy Hill film. Farrow is the son of Academy Award-winning writer, director, and actor Woody Allen (Annie Hall, Midnight in Paris) and actress Mia Farrow (Rosemary's Baby, The Purple Rose of Cairo), and he currently works as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's special adviser for global youth issues.
Farrow joins previously announced actors Ron Howard, Gillian Anderson, Chris Noth, and Sarah Bolger. GKIDS will release the film in North American theaters next March, after holding a run in Los Angeles County for Academy Award qualification in the "November time frame." It also plans to release it on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.
