Ushijima the Loan Shark Live-Action Film's Hummer Clip Streamed

The Movie Collection Japanese film and TV news website began streaming 15-second "Hummer" clip from the live-action film adaption of Shohei Manabe's Ushijima the Loan Shark (Yamikin Ushijima-kun) manga on Monday. The film's staff are currently hosting a contest to give away one Hummer H2 vehicle in commemoration of the film's release.
The film will open in Japan on August 25.
TheUshijima the Loan Shark manga has been running in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine since 2004, and 5 million copies of its compiled volumes are in print. Additionally, Manabe created a special bonus booklet that included a one-shot "report manga" (pictured at left) from the Ushijima the Loan Shark manga in commemoration of the film's upcoming release. The booklet was included with the September issue of Weekly Big Comic Spirits on July 27. The booklet also includes interview with the live-action film's cast members and photos from the film.
