Tokitawa RPG's International Talks Move Forward
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
On Saturday, Imageepoch CEO Ryōei Mikage posted in English on his Twitter account that the Tokitawa role-playing game will have "contracts soon [Localization]" and that "the project is progressing". Mikage revealed early last month that he is "holding the meeting of whether to sell [TOKI TOWA for PS3] in the United States."
Imageepoch (Fate/Extra, Luminous Arc, 7th Dragon) is developing Tokitowa as the "first HD animation RPG" with the anime studio Satelight (Macross Frontier, Aquarion Evol, Mōretsu Pirates, AKB0048) and the distributor Namco Bandai Games.
Satelight is not just animating the key cut scenes (as many role-playing games have already done in the past), but also the characters' movements and battle sequences in regular gameplay.
The single-player fantasy game ships this year for the PlayStation 3 console at a price to be announced later.
