Second SunnyCon Event Announced for March 2013

Guests Vic Mignogna and Ginny McQueen; £2000 prize for cosplay winner.
The Sunderland convention SunnyCon has announced it will hold its next event on March 23 and 24 2013, at the new venue of the Seaburn Centre on the sea front. The first SunnyCon in March 2012 attracted over 900 visitors, according to the press release.
The first guests announced for the 2013 event are voice actor Vic Mignogna and cosplay star Ginny McQueen. SunnyCon will also offer a £2000 prize for the cosplay competition winner.
Tickets are now on sale on the site. The event costs £10 for under 13s; £25 for over-13s; and VIP tickets (limited to 300) cost £30. VIP tickets allow customers into the event an hour early, as well as a free t-shirt, entry into a draw for a prize pack and half price entry into the evening event.
