Megami Magazine Spirits to Launch with Madoka Magica

The June issue of Gakken's Megami Magazine announced on Saturday that its newest spinoff, Megami Magazine Spirits, will launch on May 30. Megami Magazine Spirits aims to cover many of the same bishōjo anime that the main Megami Magazine covers, but it will focus more on the creators with in-depth insight on the making of these titles.
The inaugural issue's cover will be devoted to the Puella Magi Madoka Magica film project. The issue will also have articles on Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's, Accel World, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, AKB0048, Aquarion Evol, Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, Acchi Kocchi, Saki Episode of Side A, Senki Zesshō Symphogear, and this summer's new titles. One of the features is a "Gattai" (Combining) discussion between director Shōji Kawamori and writer Mari Okada.
