New Devilman G Manga Launches in Champion Red Magazine

Mikarun X's Rui Takatō to illustrate new spinoff series based on Gō Nagai's original manga

The cover for the May issue of Akita Shoten's Monthly Champion RED magazine has revealed that the issue will preview a new Devilman spinoff manga titled Devilman G. The magazine will go on sale on Monday.

Rui Takatō (Scape-God, Once Again!, Mikarun X) will illustrate the new series. Takatō previously launched the Once Again! manga with writer Yoshirō Nabeta in Shueisha's Jump X magazine in June 2011.

Devilman original creator Gō Nagai and his Dynamic Pro studio previously serialized the one-volume Devilman vs. Getter Robo manga in Monthly Champion RED in 2010.
