Ghibli Anime Screenings Listed in Austin, Texas

The Austin Film Society blog Slackerwood announced on Tuesday that the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar will host a Studio Ghibli Retrospective in Austin, Texas. It will begin February 10 and run through early May. The series features new 35mm prints of nine subtitled Ghibli films. Each movie will screen once a night for a week-long period.

• The Cat Returns (2002), April 20-26
• Princess Mononoke (1997), April 27 - May 3
