Nintendo announced on Friday that the video-streaming service Hulu Plus will be available for the Wii console and 3DS handheld system by the end of the year. To use the new feature, device owners must pay the Hulu Plus US$7.99 monthly fee. Nintendo holds a similar agreement with the streaming media provider Netflix.
Nintendo also announced this week that 3D video-recording support is also coming to the 3DS this November. The new Expansion Slide Pad for the 3DS will ship in Japan on December 10.
