Funimation to release 1st part of sequel series on DVD on January 17
The North American anime distributor Funimation began streaming a 69-second English-language trailer on Friday for its upcoming release of the Hetalia: World Series anime series, based on Hidekaz Himaruya's Hetalia - Axis Powers comedy manga.
Funimation will release the first part of the series on DVD on January 17. Those who purchase the limited edition of the set will receive a purple Prussia bandana. Funimation announced last year that it had licensed the sequel series.
Funimation also posted the results of its Hetalia Fan Video Contest on its blog on Friday.
