Retailer Lists Twelve Kingdoms BD from Media Blasters

The anime retailer Robert's Corner Anime Store reported on its blog on Friday that Media Blasters is currently soliciting a Blu-ray release for the first 14 episodes of the television anime Twelve Kingdoms, currently scheduled for July 26 with a suggested retail price of US$49.99. The Right Stuf retailer also lists the product. Media Blasters had not responded to ANN's request for comment at press time.
Twelve Kingdoms is a 2003 anime adaptation of the novel series the same name by author Fuyumi Ono (Shiki, Ghost Hunt). Media Blasters originally released the series in North America in August 2003 with a complete collection release in 2009, while Tokyopop released the first four volumes of the 11-book light novel series between 2007 and 2010.
