Crunchyroll iOS App Lists Spring 2011 Anime
posted on by Gia Manry
The official app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices from the media-distribution site Crunchyroll lists several anime series that have not yet premiered in Japan. With app's recently added push notification feature, users can receive messages when new episodes arrive for streamed titles; the "Manage Notifications" option menu for the feature lists the following titles which will premiere this spring:
- Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist)
- A Bridge to the Stars (Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi)
- Deadman Wonderland
- Hana-Saku Iroha
- Lotte no Omocha!
- Nichijou
- Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi
- Sket Dance
- Under the Innocent Sky (Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai)
Since the new titles were discovered in the app's menus earlier this week, three more new titles — A-Channel, anohana, and Dog Days — were added to the "Manage Notifications" option menu.
The listings do not necessarily indicate definite release plans or dates. Crunchyroll had not responded to ANN's request for comment at press time.
The official website for Blue Exorcist announced last week that the anime's first episode would be delayed for one week (from April 10 to April 17).
