Starz Denver Film Festival Screens Summer Wars Tonight

English-subbed showing of film by The Girl Who Leapt Through Time team

The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced that Mamoru Hosoda and Madhouse's Summer Wars film will run at midnight tonight at the The Starz Denver Film Festival. The screening will be in Japanese with English subtitles.

Summer Wars is the award-winning film from The Girl Who Leapt Through Time team at the anime Studio Madhouse, director Mamoru Hosoda, screenwriter Satoko Okudera, and character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. Funimation will release this anime on DVD and Blu-ray Disc next year.
