Anime Weekend Atlanta to Host Director/Designer Shinji Aramaki

Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) has announced that director Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed: Ex Machina, Halo Legends) will be a guest at the September 17-19 event in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to his work as an anime director, Aramaki is well-known for his work as a mechanical designer. His works include Bubblegum Crisis video anime series (mechanical design, screenplay, production design), Genesis Climber Mospeada (mechanical design), Soul Eater (conceptual design), Digimon Tamers (CG design), the first Fullmetal Alchemist series (production design), and s-CRY-ed (design). He was also one of the original creators of Megazone 23.
Anime Weekend Atlanta will be at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel and the Cobb Galleria Centre. Other guests include voice actor and director Michael Sinterniklaas; voice actors Vic Mignogna, Laura Bailey, and Amy Howard Wilson; author Helen McCarthy; and others.
