Fist of the North Star's Buronson Launches Full Swing Manga

Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken) manga creator Yoshiyuki "Buronson" Okamura has launched a new series called Full Swing with artist Daichi Matsuse in the June issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine on Wednesday. Matsuse was the Grand Prize winner of Monthly Shonen Sunday's first new artist competition. Both Viz Media and Gutsoon! Entertainment had published parts of Fist of the North Star in North America.
The official website of the magazine has also announced that Hiroyuki Nishimori, the manga creator of Tenshi na Konamaiki, is launching a new manga. More details will be provided in the next issue on June 11. Viz Media published Tenshi na Konamaiki under the name Cheeky Angel.
The June issue marks the first anniversary of Monthly Shonen Sunday. As a spinoff from Weekly Shonen Sunday, the magazine has featured creators such as Mitsuru Adachi (Touch, H2, Cross Game), Kazuhiko Shimamoto (Blazing Transfer Student), Yellow Tanabe (Kekkaishi), Kiyohiko Azuma (Azumanga Daioh), and the writer/artist team of Kōtarō Isaka and Megumi Osuga (Maoh: Juvenile Remix).
