Japanese Animation DVD Ranking, July 13-19 (Updated)

Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Ponyo topped Oricon's weekly DVD chart for the third week in a row. According to the Mainichi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web, the last animated DVD to make this achievement was Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich, and Pixar's Finding nemo five years ago. The last Miyazaki film to achieve this was Spirited Away seven years ago.
The 10th volume of the live-action special-effects series Ultra Seven sold 2,795 copies in its first week at #29.
