Imagi's Computer-Animated Astro Boy Film Profiled

The MTV Splash Page blog reports on the progress of IMAGI Studio's computer-animated film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga. The blog reports that although new characters have been added, such as the girl Cora (Kristen Bell) and a "scene-stealing robot that's half-dog and half-trashcan," the film will retain aspects of the original robot boy hero such as his “butt machine guns.” The film will open in North America on October 23.
