Maria-sama's Nagasawa to Remake Nichiyōbi wa Issho ni Manga

The April 5 issue of Shueisha's Margaret magazine has announced on Thursday that Maria-sama ga Miteru manga artist Satoru Nagasawa will remake Yukari Ichijō's Nichiyōbi wa Issho ni manga into a new series in the next issue, which ships on April 4. Ichijo is best known for her ongoing Pride manga about aspiring opera singers, but she previously created the one-volume Nichiyōbi wa Issho ni (Together with You on Sunday) romance manga in 1988.
In the story, Kanako, Kirara, and Jun are three tight-knit best friends in high school with no luck with guys — one had her love letter rejected, the second discovers her boyfriend has been two-timing her, and the third has a crush on a teacher who just got engaged. The trio rashly play a game to reel in potential dates six days before a Sunday dance party.
