Court: Umezu's House Can Stay Candy-Cane-Striped
posted on by Egan Loo
The Tokyo District Court has ruled that manga artist Kazuo Umezu does not have to change the candy-cane-like, red-and-white-stripe paint scheme on his Tokyo house. The eye-catching home, which is evocative of Umezu's signature red-and-white coloring, has earned the nickname "Makoto-chan House" after one of Umezu's more famous works.
