ICv2 Posts U.S. Fall '08 Sales Charts, '09 Projections

The ICv2 retailer news source posted its estimated sales ranking chart for November comics from Diamond Comic Distributors in the United States. It also began shipping its ICv2 Guide #62: Manga/Anime last week. To coincide with the book's release, ICv2 posted its lists of the top 25 manga properties and the top 25 anime properties of last fall. ICv2 reports that publishers are planning to release 1,224 different manga volumes in the United States in 2009, compared to 1,731 volumes that were planned in 2008. However, only about 1,356 titles actually shipped in 2008 because publishers had delayed or cancelled many titles.
