Penguin Girl Heart's 2nd Season Begins Online in Japan
posted on by Egan Loo
Japan's Nico Nico Douga video-streaming service has posted the first 12-minute episode from the second season of the Penguin Girl Heart anime series on Saturday. (Viewers outside Japan can watch the episode, but Japanese registration is required.) The anime adapts Tetsuya Takahashi's Penguin Musume (Penguin Girl) comedy manga about a rich otaku girl who is nicknamed "Penguin" and "A-Girl" because of her family name ("Nankyoku" or "Antarctica") and her fascination with the culture of Tokyo's Akihabara shopping district.
The Nico Nico Anime Channel had previously hosted a video of the press conference that announced the anime, and the 11 episodes of the anime's first season debuted online in April.
