Japanese Box Office: April 12–13

Kamen Rider: Den-O & Kiva opens on top; Doraemon drops to #4
Doraemon: Nobita to Midori no Kyojin Den, the latest movie about Fujiko F. Fujio's manga robotic cat, dropped from #2 to #4 at the Japanese box office (April 12–13). Doraemon added the equivalent of US$865,945 in its sixth weekend on 344 screens for a grand total of US$31,338,273 (Box Office Mojo). The new #1 movie is Kamen Rider: Den-O & Kiva, which earned $1,929,363 on 136 screens in its opening weekend. Eiga Kurosagi (Kurosagi the Movie), the theatrical continuation of the live-action television drama adaptation of Takeshi Natsuhara and Kuromaru's manga, fell out of the top ten after six week at the box office.
