Hiroyuki to End Doujin Work Manga in Japan in February
posted on by Egan Loo
Manga creator Hiroyuki has announced in his January 10 blog entry that his Doujin Work title will end in the March issue (on sale on February 9) of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine. The manga follows a budding artist as she tries her hand at creating and selling dōjinshi (self-published manga and other works) with some friends. Hiroyuki plans to launch a new work that is "something like a side story" in April. However, he emphasizes in his blog that he has not decided anything about what he will do in it. Media Blasters CEO John Sirabella indicated in November that his company is adapting the anime version of Doujin Work in North America.
