Japanese Comedians' Comic Yoshimoto Manga Mag to End
posted on by Egan Loo
Comic Yoshimoto, the manga magazine that the Yoshimoto Kōgyō talent agency of entertainers and comedians announced with much fanfare at the beginning of the year, will end on September 18. The biweekly young men's magazine had just launched on June 18 with a planned 250,000-copy circulation, but the publisher Wani Books said on Friday that the magazine "will close its curtains with issue 7." Among others, the magazine featured famed artist Gō Nagai (Mazinger Z, Devilman, Cutey Honey), as well as comedians Razor Ramon (HG and Makoto Izubuchi) and Shinsuke Shimada. Source: Ultimatum
