Japan's SkyPerfectTV to Air 23 Gundam Works in October

Japan's SKY PerfecTV! satellite television provider will hold a "Gundam Festival" in which five of its channels will air almost every Gundam anime work in October. The special programming will run on Perfect Choice (Skyper!)/SkyChan! (32 by Skyper!), Animax, Family Theater, TBS Channel, and Channel NECO between October 1 and 31 for 999 yen (about US$8.70). The 23 titles range from the first Mobile Suit Gundam to Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny and the recent Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam movie trilogy. The latest Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, will premiere on October 6 on the terrestrial broadcasting affiliates of Mainichi Broadcasting.
Notably missing from the Gundam Festival lineup are any SD Gundam works, G Gundam, Gundam Wing and its Endless Waltz sequel, the specialty-format movies (Gundam the Ride, Green Divers, G-Saviour, Gundam Evolve, and the MS IGLOO works), and 2006's Gundam Seed C.E. 73: Stargazer web broadcast.
