Al Jazeera English Reports on Otakon, Anime Fandom

Al Jazeera English, the sister channel of the Arabic news channel Al Jazeera, posted its report on Asian popular culture in the United States — as seen at Otakon 2007 — on the YouTube website. The three-minute report included interview excerpts from cosplayers at the convention. It also covered franchises influenced by Asian popular culture, such as the Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series. Thanks, Kun Sun Sweeley.
