posted on by Egan Loo
The Izu Teddy Bear Museum in central Japan is hosting a Totoro Plushie Exhibition until the end of August. The collection recreates scenes from Studio Ghibli's My Neighbor Totoro film with plush versions of Oh Totoro, Chū Totoro, Chibi Totoro, and Mei, as well as a Catbus with working eye headlights. It also showcases rare prototype toys based on the original Totoro sketches, the upcoming Mei-Gani (Mei-Crab) plushies, and a life-size Oh Totoro. The Studio Ghibli website has posted photographs in its diary. Source: Saikin Anime Jōhō
