Kure-nai Light Novel to Turn into Manga in Jump Square (Updated)
posted on by Egan Loo
Posters on the Japanese 2ch board report that issue #32 (on sale July 9) of Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced that the Super Dash Bunko romantic comedy light novel Kure-nai will be remade as a manga. The Shueisha manga will cross-promote with the upcoming anime adaptation. Akamaru Jump magazine will preview the manga in August, and the new Jump Square magazine will serialize it in its first issue, which launches November 2.
Jump Square announced earlier that it will feature Kure-nai's writer Kentarō Katayama and illustrator Yamato Yamamoto, but it has not confirmed that Yamamoto will drawn the manga. The two had previously worked on Denpa-teki na Kanojo novels, which features character crossovers with Kure-nai. This work is unrelated to Toshimitsu Shimizu's Kurenai manga, which ComicsOne adapted as Red Prowling Devil.
