Ghibli "Channel" Opens for Studio News, Information Online

The NTV television network in Japan has opened the "Ghibli Channel," a new part of its online video distribution service that provides the latest information on Studio Ghibli. In addition to news on Studio Ghibli works, it will also host information on the Ghibli Museum and various Ghibli-related events.
The debut video has Ghibli Musuem Director Kiyofumi Nakashima introducing Paul Grimault's Le Roi et L'Oiseau (The King and the Mockingbird), the first film in the Ghibli Museum Library DVD collection. The Ghibli Channel is also streaming trailers for Le Roi et L'Oiseau and Aleksandr Petrov's Moya lyubov (My Love, another Ghibli Museum Library release), as well as a showcase of the Ghibli booth at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2007.
