New York Asian Film Festival Lineup

Cromartie High School and Shinobi Showing as Part of Festival
The line up for the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) has been announced. Cromartie High School is based on the eponymous manga, while Shinobi is based on the same book, by Futaroh Yamada, that the Basilisk manga is based on.
The first week of NYAFF will be presented at the Anthology Film Acrchives, while the second week will be presented at the ImaginAsian. More information on NYAFF is available from Subway Cinema while tickets for both venues are available from the ImaginAsian.
Riichiro Mashima 3DCG project, Ski Jumping Pairs: Road to Torino, 2006, won the excellence prize at the 2003 [7th] Japan Media Arts Festival and the Special Award at the 2005 Tokyo International Film Festival. It's sequel Ski Jumping Pairs 2007: Flying Test will also be shown.
Umizaru 2: The Test of Trust is based on Shuho Sato's Umizaru manga.
