TBS Announces REC Anime

Hanamizawa Qtaro's REC to be Animated by Shaft
TBS has announced that Hanamizawa Qtaro's manga REC, which is now appearing serially in Shogakukan's Sunday GX, will be made into a TV anime series by studio Shaft.
The anime will air in early 2006 on BS-i digital satellite broadcasting and the TBS terrestrial channel.
Ryūtarō Nakamura will direct the anime, while Hideyuki Morioka will provide character designs.
Kanako Sakai will provide the voice of Onda Aka, the main character of REC, herself is a voice actress.
