Anime Expo has made a number of updates and announcements in the past couple of days, biggest piece of news for fans is probably the Announcement of AX 2002's first Guest of Honor, Nobuhiro Watsuki, the creator/author/artist of the Rurouni Kenshin manga series.
In the events arena, AX2002 has announced a number of screening from Banndai, including 35mm screenings of Evangelion and Jin-Roh, as well as the home video premieres of Tsukikage Ran, G Gundam and Kikaider.
Also newly posted is Anime Expo's Industry registration page, for members of the Anime Industry (Studio Reps, VAs, etc... but not retailers). Anime Expo requests that attenting industry members register by May 31st.
Their final recent update has been to their Memories section, which now include Memories of Anime Expo years 92-95.
