Bandai has decided to make some changes to the upcoming Gundam 0080 and 0083 DVDs, episode count to drop, but features to improve.

Charles McCarter of Bandai Entertainment has posted the following news regardgin Bandais upcoming Gundam discs on Anime on DVD's forum.
"The new 0080 and 0083 releases will follow the same pattern as the Japanese releases. In fact, we're using the new remastered DVD masters to make our DVD's and the video looks great.
We'll be including the extras you saw on the Japanese discs. And, of course, a Gundam Encyclopedia featuring the mobile suits of their respective series.
The covers, of course, will be reversible...
And--something you can't get on the Japanese DVD's--both the English and Japanese audio tracks will be presented in Dolby Digital 5.1."
