Urban Vision considering a different label for this Anime
Urban Vision has licenced the Anime Series Strange Dawn and is concidering releasing the series under a different label.
Strange Dawn is a 13 episode TV series that was Broadcast by Japanese TV station WOWOW from July 11th to September 26th 2000.
English excerpt from the Phase I DVD cover:
Yuko & Eri, two girls fell into a trip to the strange world where small human beings live in. They visited a small village called "BELZERGLE" and saw many troubles. BELZERGLE is a land of sufferings from being involved in the wary between two big countries of GLIANIA and BARGEDANE.
For more information on Strange Dawn, EX has a preview of the series here.
Urban Vision, which is best known for more mature Anime such as Vampire Hunter D, Golgo 13 and Wicked City, is considering new label to release Strange Dawn and other Anime aimed at children.
The idea of a "Kids Label" has been floating around at UV for several months now (Urban Vision rep Rhona Medina first mentionned it to ANN at Fanime in April) and while they haven't finalised the name of the label it will probably be "something simple" like UV Kids.
