Nelvana Aquired by Corus Entertainment

Canadian Media company Corus Entertainment has announced its upcoming aquisition of Nelvana Entertainment, the Canadian Producers of Cardcaptors, for $540 million in Canadian dollars (Approximately US$380 million). The deal, which was unanimously aproved by the boards of directors of both companies, is expected to close in November.
Corus Entertainment already owns YTV and a 20% share in Teletoon, as well as various other television, radio and various media companies.
