Kite Director's Cut

Kite DVD: International Version - A Director's Cut of Kite has recently been release, and is available from importers such as CD Japan. This ''Director's cut'' edition is re-edited from the acclaimed international version of the movie with previously unpublished footage edited in. Color/Run time: approx. 50 mins/Single layer/Audio tracks: 1. English Stereo, 2. Japanese Stereo/Full screen/Optional Japanese subtitles/Dolby Digital. Kite is a dark action title that has received a sizable following among viewers.
Many people we're highly unhappy that the original American release by AnimeWorks had been cut by nearly 7 minutes. The AnimeWorks release had cut several scenes which were sexual in nature, including one scene which was the film's turning point.
Note: There is still some question as to whether this is a region free DVD or a region 2.
